A typical day for Starlight « Thread Started on Jun 26, 2006, 7:53pm »
Starlight was sitting under the shade of a tree. It was a sunny summer day: The birds were chirping, the sheepdogs were working, and the farm cats were at work catching mice. Starlight, meawhile, was pondering his existence
Is my name Starlight? For real? Is the the the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landside: Escape from reality?
Starlight did things like this a lot. Of course, he had no flock. There were no subornate roosters: no hens. He hadn't seen any: Yet. But, of course, he would someday. Just, not right now.
Sighing, he got up and walked over to the trough of chicken feed. The black, orange, and green rooster ate at the food greedily. He was hungry: Philosophical sessions were though on him. Of course, he would get right bac where he started from in thoughts when he was finished eating.
Looking around, he yearned for someone to talk to. Even a cow would be great.

Sierra walked up and stared at Starlight. The though of talking to another cow was unbarable. She was really shy. She hid trying to make it so the other cow couldn't see her. She forced her self to introduce herself because usually she wanted to meet somebody. Her shyness held her back."hhhhheeeeeeeelllllllloooooo. IIIII am Siieeerra." She said shaking all she could. She felt as though she were going to fall right over or faint but, she didn't she just sat there staring and waiting for a reply.

OOC: Starlight isn't a cow, hes a Rooster
IC:Starlight understood the cows shyness. She was, after all, a cow. Cows were afriad of everything. Not like chickens. Chickens were brave. Oh yeah. Why else would they stand the blazing heat and corwded conditions of the factory farm, only to be thrown against the wall and boiled alive? But wait... that meant that Starlight himself was afraid: He escaped. Starlight had no idea that cows stood horrible conditions, too. He thought chickens were the only ones.
"Hello, Seirra" said Starlight, retaining his dominance. "Nice weather today, isn't it? Haven't seen it this hot since I was a chick". Of course, as a chick, he had never saw the outside. But hey, might as well play it cool.

OOC: Sierra's a horse
"Yeah its nice. When I was a foal I also had a lot of sunlight. We lived in Arizona if that can explain it..." She said happy she was acually saying something. She smiled as she tilted down to eat a small group of hay. She loooked up chewing and staring as she did when she was nervous.
